PCIe-DAQ cards (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express - Data Acquisition Cards) are a key technology in measurement applications and form the high-performance interface for digital signal processing and data acquisition. The new PCIe-9100 series multiplexer DAQ cards from Adlink, which are now available from German distributor Acceed, have been developed for use in demanding industrial measurement and control systems. They combine high input resolution for precise data acquisition with a choice of different channel counts and configurations, making them a preferred choice for demanding applications, for example in data analysis, development, performance control or automation.

Box PCs and embedded controllers often have to be installed in very small spaces or in tight control cabinets. The limited space is a challenge for heat dissipation. Inadequate temperature management can quickly lead to problems with performance and operational reliability. The new POC-700-FT controller, now available from German distributor Acceed, offers an efficient solution. The innovative design with the newly developed full-surface, flat heat sink maximises cooling efficiency via the housing surface and allows safe fanless operation in industrial environments.

Computers for the intelligent control of unmanned vehicles and stationary robots, also in industrial surroundings for a longer period with AI-based applications. However, manufacturers and constructors are faced with a special type of challenge when handling flying devices, e.g. drones which are applied in an industrial context. The weight of all components then plays a supporting role in the literal sense. Specifically tailored to such applications, the German distributor Acceed has now added the ultralight box computer FLYC-300 from the experienced manufacturer Neousys to its programme. With its flyweight of a mere 297 grams and an AI processor power of 100 TOPS, the controller is suitable for various applications in unmanned systems, in particular airborne vehicles, but also agricultural machinery and autonomous mobile robots of a smaller size, to name just a few further examples.

As their name already indicates, access points basically only have one simple task: the extension of the network via radio technology in an efficient manner with access points. However, within industrial surroundings, higher requirements must be met, including temperature tolerance, robustness and safety. Last but not least, the speed plays an important role for successful data communication in virtually all business fields. The German distributor Acceed has now incorporated the new high-speed access point IAP-1800AX from Planet into its programme, which with Wi-Fi 6, two radio frequencies (dual band 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz), a wide temperature range from -40 to +75 °C and five LAN interfaces in a stable metal casing is designated for professional use.

The constantly growing requirements of processor power are typical for industrial AI operations, robotics applications and automation architecture. Controlling, monitoring and evaluating processes, machines and systems assume large data quantities and complex algorithms. Their calculation requires specialist hardware and a high bandwidth for data communication. As a response to these challenges, Acceed has now added the new Edge AI platform DLAP-411-Orin to its programme.
